Have You Noticed How Many Pro Life Music Stations There Are Out There?

Yeah…me neither.

I’m curious why so many Christian radio stations and Christian “recording artists” shy away from the Pro Life vs Pro Choice debate. And actually I’m not really too curious because I think I can take a pretty good guess why. But since life seems to be a core issue with God…and…since God is so adamant about protecting the innocent and punishing the guilty (not the other way around)…it appears to be a no-brainer.

Yet, pro life music…and I mean truly pro life music that stands for the right and personhood of every human being, born and not yet born, isn’t getting much airplay in America. That’s a sad fact. If you’re a Christian (and I’m thankful to say I am) and if you’re a musician, this is THE most important issue to sing about. If Christian singers and songwriters won’t sing and write about the murders of unborn babies…who on earth will? Madonna?Eminem? J-Lo? Usher? or D. none of the above? Correct answer: D

On a more positive note…this evening I spoke with a guy in New York who pays for a 15 minute Pro Life Music program on one of his local radio stations out of his own pocket. He found me online and liked my voice and music and contacted me to see if I’d be interested. I’ll be sending him some of my music to play on his program. Neither one of us makes any money from this…in fact, as I mentioned, he pays for the program himself. We’re just both interested in spreading the message about the horror of abortion. And we agreed that music is one of the best tools to do that!

Once I know more details I’ll let you in on ‘em. In the meantime…pray that more pro life music starts getting written and played on Christian radio. And, as always, I appreciate your support.

Stay tuned,

Let Them Be Little

Here’s a song by Billy Dean. And to this I’d add…

You can’t “let them be little” if you don’t first let them live. Check it out…

Hey everybody,

You may have noticed there wasn’t much to notice from the Pro Life Musician blog lately. Well, I’ve been working on some musical production, and it’s been taking all my extra time. It’s a Praise & Worship project, and I’ll reveal more when I get it done.

I’ve also been working on my other site: Ton-O-Fun Tunes. That’s where I sell kids music, personalized and fun songs just for kids. I just added a download page where you can download 25 MP3’s of kids music with one click. These links will take you there to see.

It’s amazing how much time songwriting and production takes. But it’s a labor of total love. If you have kids, or you know someone who does, I’d love it if you’d take a look at my site and/or recommend it to others.

And I’ve been working at streamlining my online marketing efforts. I have a knack for coming up with more ideas than I can possibly pursue…and that can be very distracting. So pray for me to have focus and persistence in what matters most.

That’s all for now. I just wanted to update you and thank you for your loyal support.

Stay tuned,

Christians Created America…And Only Christians Can Restore America!

Because only Christianity teaches the Truth of our Creator…

Check out these quotes from presidents (and other founding fathers) past who thought it not a weakness, not illegal, and not illogical to rely on Jesus for wisdom and truth. These are but a few of the scores and scores of quotes…

George Washington

“ It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and Bible.”

“What students would learn in American schools above all is the religion of Jesus Christ.” [speech to the Delaware Indian Chiefs May 12, 1779]

“To the distinguished character of patriot, it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished character of Christian” [May 2, 1778, at Valley Forge]

John Adams and John Hancock:
We Recognize No Sovereign but God, and no King but
Jesus! [April 18, 1775]

John Adams:
“ The general principles upon which the Fathers achieved independence were the general principals of Christianity… I will avow that I believed and now believe that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God.”
• “[July 4th] ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty.”
–John Adams in a letter written to Abigail on the day the Declaration was approved by Congress

Samuel Adams

“ He who made all men hath made the truths necessary to human happiness obvious to all… Our forefathers opened the Bible to all.” [ "American Independence," August 1, 1776. Speech delivered at the State House in Philadelphia]

Charles Carrollsigner of the Declaration of Independence | Portrait of Charles Carroll
” Without morals a republic cannot subsist any length of time; they therefore who are decrying the Christian religion, whose morality is so sublime and pure…are undermining the solid foundation of morals, the best security for the duration of free governments.” [Source: To James McHenry on November 4, 1800.]

Alexander Hamilton

“For my own part, I sincerely esteem it [the Constitution] a system which without the finger of God, never could have been suggested and agreed upon by such a diversity of interests.” [1787 after the Constitutional Convention]

Patrick Henry

“It cannot be emphasized too clearly and too often that this nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religion, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason, peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here.” [May 1765 Speech to the House of Burgesses]

James Madison
“ We’ve staked our future on our ability to follow the Ten Commandments with all of our heart.”

“We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it. We’ve staked the future of all our political institutions upon our capacity…to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God.” [1778 to the General Assembly of the State of Virginia]

Thomas Paine:
“ It has been the error of the schools to teach astronomy, and all the other sciences, and subjects of natural philosophy, as accomplishments only; whereas they should be taught theologically, or with reference to the Being who is the author of them: for all the principles of science are of divine origin. Man cannot make, or invent, or contrive principles: he can only discover them; and he ought to look through the discovery to the Author.”

Noah Webster

“Education is useless without the Bible.”
