Are You Really Pro Life If You Support Politicians Who Aren’t?
I don’t think so. And here’s what a compromised position sounds like…
I’m just a simple pro life musician…a lowly singer/songwriter in the grand scheme of things. Yet, even I can hear the compromise dripping from Ann Coulter’s responses.
It’s a dirty rotten shame. And this is what passes for “conservative”. I’m ashamed of the Re-publicans. And I despise the Democrats. And I’m not a libertarian. Yikes! What does that leave?
Oh yeah…Jesus and Truth.
Stay tuned,
P.S. Wanna support a lowly pro life musician and help get the word out? Buy my music, and I’ll continue to write songs that glorify life and demonize losers like Obama, Romney, Pelosi, and Disney….oops.
I love life and the opportunity to live it.
I love the:
- smooth sailing,
- trials and tribulations
- growing up,
- gaining knowledge,
- gaining friends,
- awards and rewards,
- challenges and failures,
- clouds and sunshine,
- joy and laughter,
- pain and redemption, and
- words and music…
…that altogether make up this journey. It’s not a two part journey…it’s a two place journey. And I’m an eager participant in both. This place we’re in right now is amazing and difficult. The next place will be unfathomably kinetic, energizing, and joyous.
But not for everyone.
That’s a shame because it’s really not difficult to achieve. You just need to believe.
Not in dreams…not in yourself…not in a “force”…not in the “law of attraction”…not in internal spirits…not in Mohammed, Confucious, Buddha, Allah, or even Oprah, Billy, or Barak…
Only in Jesus. If that’s the only name you find offensive or problematic, try to find out why.
The second place of your life depends on that One name.
A humble pro life musician cares enough to point it out.
Stay tuned,
P.S. And if you’re pro life, and you’d like to support, endorse, or otherwise “hang with” a pro life musician, I’d appreciate it.
Spanking Children is not Pro Life…Right?!
If you’re an atheist, evolutionist, agnostic, pro-choice, or other extremely nice, tolerant, and diversified human being…you have a much better handle on that question than me. I’m sure.
If you’re a “nicer than God” Christian, I’m confident you’ll disagree with what I’m about to say. Still…I can’t help myself. My heartbeat quickens, my electrons start firing, and my fingers itch to get at the keyboard when I hear another “nice person” talk about how spanking children isn’t right or necessary or appropriate.
Since spanking children has become so obsolete in America our children are more well-behaved and full of manners and etiquette than ever. Am I right?! No! Everywhere I go (with the exception of my little church) kids of all ages are difficult to be around at best…and downright terrors at worst.
I’m so tired of people thinking they know what’s better for kids than God does.
For two reasons: One…no one in this world knows better than God what’s good for kids. And two…it’s a clear case of not being able to see past the nose on one’s face. We need to keep a “big picture” in our minds at all times. If a little kid throws a tantrum and gets what he/she wants, where’s the incentive to do otherwise at any point in his/her life?
A fellow online marketer, who’s extremely successful with his online efforts, just ranked a blog post on his site about not spanking children. There were several comments, and every one of them praised him for his take on it.
It’s epidemic, systemic, and makes me mad. And you know what? I’m part of the problem because for too much of my life I’ve been one of those “good people to do nothing” guys.
Not anymore…
Stay tuned,
P.S. psssst…if you’d like to get a fairly new CD you and your kids can listen to without embarrassment, check out the new one I’ve created called “In This World”
It’s fun, it’s pro life, and lots of other people are already enjoying it. You should too.

Should A Church Evangelize Or Take A Stand For Pro Life Causes?
A wise man once said…”given the choice between A or B, very often it’s wisest to choose C”. For the answer to the headline question I’m choosing C. It’s not an either/or decision. Your church should evangelize at every opportunity and stand for pro life “causes” no matter what. If nothing else, you have to look at it as job security.
Christians are outnumbered, so there’s no shortage of potential believers. And if we don’t stand for life, there’ll be a lot less people to fill the church.
Now, I prefer to look at it not as job security but as what we’re called by Jesus to do. He must have a good reason for us to preach the good news to all the earth. And He must have a good reason why we should stand for innocent life. He does have a good reason…it’s good for us. It’s like “marrow to our bones”. It’s not a touchy-feely-warm-and-fuzzy-Christmas kind of thing. It’s actual goodness and righteousness.
It doesn’t matter if you believe it, it’s still true.
As Christians we know the Source of Truth. So I encourage you and admonish you to stand for life. Get your church involved in pro life causes. Study the Truth, and it will set you free.
As a pro life musician, I’ve made it a point to write songs about the issues of the day from a cold, hard truth perspective. And I’m fortunate to direct the music in my Pro Life church. Our church is full of missionaries for the unborn, and I’ve seen some small missions accomplish some awesome things. We call our church “The Little Church That Could”.
And I’m posting a tune by the very same name, below. Thanks for listening…
Stay tuned,

P.S. There’ll be samples and a new CD available very soon. The CD is called “In This World”. In the meantime, if you’d like to support this musical ministry, you can get other music here.

Everybody said it really couldn’t be done
To talk about the Father and the Spirit and the Son
In any public places where unbelievers go
‘Cause they don’t wanna listen and they don’t wanna know
But one little group decided that was wrong.
And they began to move and sing a different song.
For absolute Truth and even Personhood
I’m talkin’ ‘bout “ The Little Church That Could”.
A tiny, little voice in the middle of the West
They could be called a “cause”. They might be called a pest.
They wouldn’t let a basket cover up their light
They urged the fallen world to flee the empty night.
Lookin’ to the Lord for the confidence to cope
And keepin’ their momentum with a message of hope.
A little band of ne’er-do-well’s accomplishing good…
I’m talkin’ ‘bout “ The Little Church That Could”.
Instrumental…
You might remember Jericho or lions in the den.
And how tall was Goliath? Maybe 9 feet…maybe 10.
But we remember Joshua and Daniel and prayer…
And David slew Goliath with a rock. Is that fair?
And Jesus gets the credit for the right we may do.
We’re instruments of clay that He can work through.
So never grow weary to do what you should.
Keep workin’ in “The Little Church That Could”.

Truths Aren’t Self-Evident To Everyone…
…and that’s a crying shame.
In case you haven’t noticed…there’s a lot of murder, stealing, lies, deception, sexual immorality, rape, incest, child molestation, etc. etc. etc. It seems there are no lines drawn in the sand which can’t be crossed over anymore.
Guess what? It didn’t just suddenly happen. It’s been creeping up on us for years. In fact, a few short years ago I wrote a song about it. It’s called “Nothin’s Sacred Anymore”.
I’m gonna post it, below, and it’s free to download, and share with anyone you want. It’s a little over seven and a half minutes, so allow a little time for the download. I’m not asking anything for it, and as a matter of fact, I’ll be posting more free pro life music here on this blog. I hope you’ll take it and pass it around as an encouragement to any pro lifers you know and to any Christians who may be “riding the fence”.
I’ll just thank you, in advance, for your support of my music and messages, and I pray you’re each a warrior for the One who gave you life…Jesus…the source of everything sacred.
Stay tuned,
P.S. Of course I’m not opposed to you buying any of my music either. You can do that by going HERE And now the music and words to “Nothin’s Sacred Anymore”.

Take the truth and lock it up, and throw away the key
Winds of change are blowing foul; a dance with destiny
Blur the face of love and sex and say it’s all OK
Tell the child it’s just a choice and melt her soul away
Nothin’s sacred anymore…
Can’t we learn from mistakes when they cut to the core
Nothin’s sacred anymore…
And should we be surprised since we’ve opened that dark, wide door?
Nothin’s sacred anymore
Cast your vote for social growth and then say yes to law
Keep the peace, divide the wealth; the vision Adolph saw
Hedge the bets and ride the fence; the middle road’s secure
Then one day you’re head to head with all you must endure
Nothin’s sacred anymore…
Can’t we learn from mistakes when they cut to the core
Nothin’s sacred anymore…
And should we be surprised
since we’ve opened that dark, wide door?
Nothin’s sacred anymore
More space and time…more would be sublime
Someone else can pay…long as I get mine today
Ain’t nothin’ sacred anymore

Never, Ever, Ever, Ever, Never Give Up
Some friends and fellow pro lifers Rachel and Jason Troyer (who own Controlled Burn Media…see another video in the post below this one) saw the video I made of “We Win”. And Rachel knew it could be better than the simple lyrics video I made. She took on the project, and with the help of Jason they proved it true.
No matter how the battles in the life go, hang in there. It’s worth it. We win. Take it from a Christian musician who knows we’ll never be good enough on our own…but we’re not on our own. We have Jesus on our side. If nothing else…at the very least…in the end…We Win.
Stay tuned,
P.S. If you’d like to help me keep writing tunes for the Pro Life/Anti Abortion causes, please feel free to check out my other music. Thanks for your support, prayers, and encouragement.
Just in case you haven’t heard…
There’s a very nice video production company called Controlled Burn Media, and they do some bang-up wedding video work. I’d say that even if they hadn’t used one of my songs in one of their demos. Really.
Still…I know it’s a bit self-serving to show you the demo here, but I’m gonna do it anyway. Enjoy…and as always…comments are welcomed.
Stay tuned,
P.S. If you’d like personalized music for your wedding or other special event, you should contact me. I’m very high priced and hard to get along with, but I’ll never rip you off. Ask any of the hundreds of other clients I’ve worked with.
“The Eternal Questions”
Where did we all come from? Where are we all going? What’s life all about? Who’s in charge? When does it all begin?
That last question is key for the here and now. When did you and I begin? We know we didn’t always exist because our parents can tell us about how life was without us around. Still, we began somewhere and sometime. And we were “allowed” to begin and enjoy this life.
Pro life means you are for LIFE…not the magazine…human existence. It sounds almost silly to have to say to someone you’re “pro life”. Who wouldn’t be? Well…people who say they’re “pro choice”…which is idiotic because the one who dies had no choice in the matter whatsoever. Just a couple of generations ago it was basically unthinkable that anyone would want to make the choice of ending the life of an innocent unborn baby.
And they didn’t have ultrasound and 4D imaging.
We do, and yet there’s that stupidity showing its ugly face again…pro choice. Look at a photograph of what’s inside a pregnant woman’s body and tell me it’s not a human baby. If you can, you’re willfully stupid, and your public schooling is showing. Look at one of those photographs again, and remember this…that was you once upon a time. All it took for you to become you was food, water, and no one murdering you. Funny thing is…that’s a 100% guarantee. A human mom will always give birth to a human baby…so leave it alone, and let it happen.
Frankly; I’m just a little bit mad I even have to bring it up!
Stay tuned,
